Rez

Welcome to the Gloucester Reservoir! This place is one of my favorite to swim during the summer time. There is a small building that kids climb up and jump out of. However, this summer, no ladder was put up! Still, the water is clear, warm and calm. There is a rope swing that is accessible if you walk around the rez a bit. To get to the rez, take Forest Lane in Gloucester and park on the dirt patch next to the road. The rez is a five minute walk down a dirt road and up a small hill. On a sunny day, the place is breathtakingly gorgeous. However, it IS a reservoir and it is not totally allowed to swim there, from what I've heard. I've never had an issue going there, but don't blame me if your car is towed... Honestly, it's worth the risk, I love where I'm from.
