Appleton Farm

Probably the most chill farm on the North Shore. This farm is actually one of the oldest, continuously operating farms in the country. It is located in both Hamilton and Ipswich and is fun to visit any time of year. Recently, a few of my girls and I went to appleton to sit in a field. Funny story actually, my chair happened to be covered in poison ivy. So I was super uncomfortable and basically poured bug spray on my body, thinking bugs were on my seat. Not so much. Needless to say, it was a struggle to sit for the next few days. Other than that incident, it was a blast and the sunset was amazing. In the winter, I have gone snow shoeing through the appleton trails (there is over six miles of trails). Appleton is perfect for dog walking, especially in the Fall, when the leaves on trees are fiery red and orange. There are these tall, strange statues throughout the trails that are interesting and fun to find. You should visit Appleton Farms!
