It's a Great Day to be Alive!
Have you ever heard the song "It's a Great Day to be Alive" by Travis Tritt? If not you should take a listen (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKipMUbXPKo). That was my theme of the day. Today was gorgeous. It was a cruising around, windows down, music blaring, sunglasses kind of day. By that, I mean it was 55 degrees. For us New Englanders, this is prime spring beach weather. And the beach was exactly where I went. Much to my mother's dismay, I picked up my newly white, fluffy pup Bella and Boomer (her brother) from the Dog Spa and went directly to the beach. Clearly, I didn't think to check the tide schedule, and it ended up being high tide. The beach was about half its usual size and crowded with about 15 other dogs. Determined to walk the entire length, I carried the puppies across the rocky bridge to the other half of the beach. They were very well behaved and didn't even get too messy. Summer is so, so close!
