Ocean Lawn

People of the world- when you read this blog and realize how your life would not be complete without visiting the spectacular North Shore of MA, visiting Ocean Lawn (formally known as Trustee's Coolridge Estate) should be at the top of your list. The trail to Ocean Lawn is located off 127, right before Manchester forks into Magnolia. My friends and I enjoy the stroll over the bridge and through the woods to this oasis. The woods open up to the most beautiful yard I have ever seen. It is quite literally a lawn over looking the ocean. It is the ideal location for picnicking, tossing' disk, strolling and oh so much more. However, be warned that the reservation is NOT open all days of the week, since it is privately owned by a kind old woman. Check the Massachusetts Trustees website before packing your picnic (we learned this the hard way). You don't wanna miss out on this gem!
