Singing Beach

Dog-walking central. After Labor Day through Memorial Day, dogs are allowed on Singing Beach and do not need to be leashed! Today was yet another gorgeous Spring day on the North Shore, so I picked up Bella's brother, Boomer, and we headed to Singing Beach. When we arrived at Singing, the parking lot was almost completely filled! Bella and Boomer made lots of puppy friends. I didn't have such luck... I couldn't spot one attractive man alone. I mean come on guys, bring your dog to Singing Beach and you are guaranteed lady attention- it's that easy. Anyways, Singing Beach gets its name from its beautiful, soft sand that squeaks under your feet as you walk. However annoying this may sound, it attracts tourists from all over Massachusetts. This beach is super crowded in the summer, so I enjoy it most during the off-season. The best part of today might have been how I could drive comfortably to Manchester-by-the-Sea with the windows rolled down and country music blasting from the speakers. Although I may or may not have been wearing a sweatshirt, I can still smell Summer just around the corner!
